Oiling a wooden dining table
The tabletop regained its depth of colour and warm glow, giving the family a table they are proud to use every day.
In Aarhus Ø, Øens HåndværkerCentral treated a solid wood tabletop of approx. 2 m² (approx. 1.5-2.6 m²) that had become dry and dull through daily use. We cleaned, lightly sanded and oiled it to bring out the wood's grain and colour. The result was an attractive surface with a deep finish, better protection against grease and liquids, and easier maintenance.
