You work with the same colleagues. Our floor sanding positions have a fixed monthly salary, and the work covers floors, balconies, decks and worktops. There is work every day.

You'll be working with the machines most of the day. Here's the sequence for a typical floor task.
The machines, sanding abrasives and oil are packed before you leave. The customer has received a fixed price before we start.
Furniture out, trim and edges clear, and the vacuum cleaner connected to the machine. The rest of the day depends on that.
The Bona belt sander removes the old finish. You then work through finer grits until the surface is even.
Along the skirting boards and into the corners, you switch to the hand sander for a seamless finish.
The polishing machine works the oil into the wood, so the floor looks saturated instead of dry. Afterwards, you clean up after yourself.
