This is what a workday looks like

You'll be working with the machines most of the day. Here's the sequence for a typical floor task.

1

You travel to the day's job

The machines, sanding abrasives and oil are packed before you leave. The customer has received a fixed price before we start.

2

You clear the room and prepare the surface

Furniture out, trim and edges clear, and the vacuum cleaner connected to the machine. The rest of the day depends on that.

3

You sand the floor with a belt sander

The Bona belt sander removes the old finish. You then work through finer grits until the surface is even.

4

You work on the edges and corners afterwards

Along the skirting boards and into the corners, you switch to the hand sander for a seamless finish.

5

Finally, the oil or varnish is applied

The polishing machine works the oil into the wood, so the floor looks saturated instead of dry. Afterwards, you clean up after yourself.
