Deck sanding and oiling in Hvidovre
A grey, dried-out hardwood deck regained its warm, rich glow in just two days.
We washed, sanded and oiled a raised hardwood deck of approx. 25 m² (approx. 18-32 m²) for a private customer in Hvidovre. Sun and rain had left the wood grey, worn and porous. We machine-sanded the whole surface, sanded by hand along the railing and saturated the wood with specialist hardwood oil. In two days, the deck looked new, with a warm, rich finish and better protection against the weather.

The task
A raised hardwood deck with a railing at a private home in Hvidovre needed a thorough refresh. Sun and rain had left the wood grey, worn and porous. The customer wanted to restore its natural appearance and extend the life of the wood.
The solution
- Thorough machine sanding of the entire deck surface (approx. 25 m²)
- Hand sanding along the railing and in hard-to-reach areas
- Application of specialist hardwood oil to bring out the wood's glow and protect it from the weather
- Light cleaning of railing and stairs
The result
The deck now looks new, with a warm, richly coloured finish. The dull, grey appearance is gone, the glow is back, and the oil provides better protection against sun and rain. The whole job took two days.
